Master Suite  Sleeps 4
King Size mirrored Pier bed faces the lake sumptuous!  Beautiful iron scroll daybead with pop-up trundle bed.  Cozy couple table and two chairs for breakfast coffee, etc.  Electric fireplace large white mantle fireplace surround.  Sony Bravia 40” LCD HDTV.  This master adjoins an amazing dressing room with built-ins vanity and dressers & large double door closet!  This dressing room is so big you could add a full size bed in there if you need additional sleeping (sleeps 2), we have a fold up if needed.  The adjoining master bath has a Jacuzzi tub/shower and custom vanity, heat lamps and heated towel rack.

 

Meditation Room  Sleeps 2
Fabulous custom leather queen sleep sectional with dual recliners this room is cool quite calm and offers a large flat screen 42” HD TV wall mounted - includes extensive library.  Read, watch a movie, relax, sleep and enjoy.

Private Efficiency with own outside entrance lovely deck and walkway.  Sleeps 4. Perfect for in-laws, grandparents, kids, teen get-a-way and perfect if you are sharing the house with another couple/or family.  This Efficiency offers a great deal of flexibility.  The room is equipped with Closet Kitchenette (micro-small frig, coffee maker and more) Table and two comfortable chairs and wall mounted TV/DVD Player with a movie collection for your enjoyment.  The entrance and private Deck  is spacious peaceful and relaxing. Enjoy your morning coffee garden side.  The perfect retreat!  Room provides; Two single Twin Beds (can be joined together for a king). Full size futon sofa bed sleeps two.  Built in dresser drawers  Adjoining full size bath imported Italian tiles oversize tub and high ceilings custom built ins and beautiful mirror/sink/vanity.

 

Living Room  Sleeps 2
Unique Redwood Custom main living area, skylights, built ins, large storage window seat,  Features large custom leather wraparound queen sleeper sofa with extended lounger for perfect viewing of it all  Big HD TV wall mount Flat Screen TV, tons of movies  and books to choose from, gas fireplace with custom imported marble surround.  Super large picture window with an incredible lake view.

 

Dining Room
Custom chair rail and large tall Pella windows with built-ins overlooking the Lake - this is the view that sold us! Expansive Bernhardt dining room table room for 10 - if it were round it would be suitable for King Arthur!  Desk is situated in front of the window for work related activities (Wireless high-speed   internet provided) or just viewing.

 

Kitchen
Gourmet’s delight. Spacious roomy imported Italian tile flooring, custom washed oak cabinets, Corian counter tops, stainless steel commercial sinks and prep area, and wet bar.  Modern appliances. Built-in microwave and flat top ceramic cook top stove.  Maytag refrigerator.  Maytag dishwasher.  Round iron & barn board table and chairs overlooking courtyard. 

Laundry Room
Adjacent to the kitchen.  Maytag Washer and Dryer along with storage and vintage porcelain laundry tub/sink.  Convenient toilet easy access from the side door entrance.

Outside
Spacious manicured grounds on 1.6acres.  300ft of stone edged lake front.  Dock, picnic table, benches, gazebo, marble deck with wide overhang leads down to wood tiered decking. Hot Tub/Spa overlooking the lake.  Long conversation benches built into the deck for groups and family to gather around the grill and spa, built in Gas grill for the gourmet or novice.  No fussing with propane tanks.  Solid oak built in porch swing.  Beautiful solid marble slabs border the flower gardens.  

SPECIAL HISTORY NOTE: When the home was built the owners planted a “bride and groom tree”  essentially 2 trees exactly the same were planted side by side, it was a tradition in the area when building your first home as husband and wife.  The trees are oak and are approx 200ft tall, they have weathered many storms and have even been struck by lightening, and yet, they have endured it all!

 

About Haven Lake
 Haven Lake is an 82 acre premier fresh water fishing lake with waterways in the far end for exploring and fishing.  There have been articles in the local papers - 10lb bass not uncommon.  Years ago, the Red Cross used to conduct lifesaving swimming courses.  The shoreline is beautiful uncluttered and un-crowded.  Take a leisurely boat ride (use either the canoe of the paddle boat) and you’ll think you’re in the middle of a vacation video –Live-  picturesque blue skies clean air and amazing sunsets …right here! In your own backyard.  For those with larger boats you wish to launce from a trailer there is a public (secluded visited by locals only) boat launch.  Haven Lake is monitored by the State of Delaware Fish Game and Recreation Department.  Large snapping turtles, the size of pizzas can be viewed up close if you approach quietly, in the shallows and lilypad gardens at the far end of the lake you can view large carp and bass right from your boat.  Although most of the time we have the entire lake to ourselves, occasional fisherperson, the lake is a great place for canoe and kayak trips.  Small motor boats are permitted but mostly is it is geared to fishing exploring and nature seekers.  The birds native to Haven lake are spectacular; Blue Herons, Majestic Bald Eagle, Geese, variety of ducks, Loons, Magpies and more.  If you are into bird watching this is a paradise, don’t forget your binoculars!  In addition to the wildlife noted you may see; Deer (standing at the kitchen sink I saw a deer wander across the grounds), beaver, otter, muskrat and an occasional raccoon.
